Added new WP Blog Posts

Apparently WP is a very popular blogging setup, so I have added similar functionality to NM. Not sure if I have it set up correctly as I would love for the default blog posts t use the WP module, but it appears they like to default to core. Lots of testing. Did this so Wolfie would have her own blog to post reviews. New blog posts should filter to the front of the news feed... May restrict the ability to do that so that way tonnes of blog posts don't flood the news feed. For now, all registered (and unblocked I might add) users can do so.

Warframe

So a friend of mine on steam is like, "You've gotta play Warframe man, you just gotta!" So while at work today, my desktop computer at home faithfully logged into steam, obtains this new game piece by piece. While it does that and during some downtime at work, I am doing two things. One writing this to let you know that I'm going to be giving Warframe a quick spin when I get home. Hopefully this won't generate a two hour stink fest from a particular friend like when I told them I was playing Scarlet Blade.

Scarlet Blade Whipper Class

Aerie Games has recently added another game to their library of anime MMO fun. This time the tool in their arsenal goes by the name, Scarlet Blade and is an interesting combo of anime, femme fatale, MMO and different anime archetypes. It is also F2P (Free 2 Play). You've got everything from the busty sword swinger to a cute but deadly gun slinger. What exactly is Scarlet Blade? Well, from their own FAQ pages:

Tera Closed Beta Weekend

For those that don't know Tera will be having it's final closed beta weekend this weekend! If you've put in a preorder for the game or were lucky enough to get a closed beta invite, be sure to hop on and check it out. This will be my first Tera closed beta, look forward to giving the game a spin.

Also, if you're an SOE player, this weekend is I believe double cash weekend on the SC points. So, smoke em if you got em.

The Necromouser

Before this site, the only reference to 'necromouser' was a slightly disturbing picture of mice caught in a mouse trap. Circle of life and all that. So I keep my eyes open in attempts to spot others using the word. Maybe the dictionary folks will finally let it in? Wishful thinking. Anyways, there is apparently a short story called, The Necromouser, by Mary E. Lowd. I myself have not read it, although next paycheck I may pick up a copy as I did like the premise behind the literature.

Adding News

In an effort to at least make life a tad easier, I have added the RSS feeds from several sites I frequent to the site. This should give the illusion I have content. >.> Seriously tho, I added some sites am am in the process of learning enough Drupal so they'll give summaries on the main page and nothing else. Lil PHP probably wouldn't hurt. It's been over a year since I've had to manipulate anything in this system. Hope all goes well. I will add some blogs and such when I get some EQ2 time, I have a brand new bag it appears.
